MAC Propane, Inc. began marketing propane in the Gallatin Valley of Montana in 1962. The Johnson family has owned and operated the business since its founding.  It has been our pleasure to serve our many customers in the Gallatin Valley, Big Sky, and surrounding area.

With a dedicated staff that has 145 years combined (or…that averages 29+ years of) experience, our customers can rest assured that they are being served by a competent, well trained, knowledgeable staff.

Larry Johnson:  Manager/Owner is the youngest son of founders Leonard and Vi Johnson and has been running the business with his brothers since 1974.

Betty Camp:  Born and raised in Bozeman Betty has been in charge of our accounts and the bookkeeping since 1978.  No one knows our customers better than Betty does.

Ray Keil:  Also born and raised here in the valley, Ray has been delivering propane to our customers since 1981 and knows all the ins and outs of delivering, installing and hooking up propane systems.

Tim DeGroot:  Another native of the area Tim began working at MAC in 1997.  Tim does installations and also delivers propane to our customers.

Ken Smith:  Ken is our part time driver who has 20 years of experience in the propane industry.
